On June 3., my client Margie from San Diego, California came to visit Croatia hoping to meet her long lost relatives. Her ancestors moved to the United States about a hundred years ago from Brinje (Lika, Croatia) and Podturen (Međimurje, Croatia). A part of her family stayed in Croatia and had their own children and grandchildren thus continuing the croatian lineage. Margie decided to meet them. During my geneological research I discovered that they moved to Vukovar and Andrijaševci, which are located in the eastern part of Croatia (the Slavonia region). Our trip was very successful and the family reunion was very touching.
